In my last prostate milking blog entry, I was talking about how people do things blindly because the people before them did the same things. And just as we can do things because other people did them we can not do things because we have a belief that those things are somehow wrong. And I would challenge you to question that! If not doing something, and in this case, prostate milking, or, if you will, prostate massage, either one, can lead to an enlarged prostate, that I would think one would challenge that previously held notion. It kind of reminds me of the people that probably were resistant to technological advances in the early part of the last century. “Oh no, we don’t want to take the horseless carriage to the market! It’s the devils death trap! We would rather walk 20 miles to town to buy our macaroni and cheese than to risk life and limb in the devil’s deathtrap! Thank you but no thank you! We would rather die than get in the horseless carriage! The horseless carriage means the end of humankind is we know it! It was prophesied in the bible! We’re all going to die because of the horseless carriage!” (And actually, if we don’t reduce our reliance on fossil fuels this may be truer than we think, but I digress.) Seriously though, all kidding aside, you get my point, right? Whenever new things are posed there is generally resistance. I chalk it up to fear of the unknown.
